This is more of a awareness post, as its come to our attention that there is many Ice Cream vendors that are attending school fetes, Children’s Birthdays,Government buildings, Carnivals, fundraising events, Old peoples homes,Charity Events,Church events, Junior football/rugby events,and so on.

please be aware before you give the permission for any out side caters to attend your event, you need to cover your back in the event that things could go wrong.

1st Public Liability certificates should be forwarded to the event organiser and held on file while the event is been held.

2nd A full schedule of Risk assessment policy should also be requested by the event organiser

3rd food hygiene certificate should also be requested.

4th and most important A CRB certificate .

5th Hygiene Inspection Certificate which states the rating of the van / catering unit.

6th all vans by law should be Registered at there local council will be inspected by their local Food Hygien officers.

Any reputable company that can forward all these document are doing the job proper, our advice is don’t cut a corner and if things go wrong WHOS going to be responsible.

Renaissance Hotel Manchester, have arranged for all their staff to be treated witha Mr whippy Ice Cream, for Appreciation week, this helps to get the work force all in a very happy mood, as every one loves Ice Cream. we have also designed some posters for the van so it looks like the van belongs to the Hotel group, we have attended this hotel on several occasions and it prooves to show that we offer a 1st class service.

Chris Bathurst Invited mr Whippy to attend and support Bowden Rugby’s Annual, Fun/presentation day. at Clay Lane Bowden, there was plenty going on, Free Barbecue, Bouncy Castles, Games, raffles, Beers, and yes Mr whippy Ice Cream , with the Last Day of the Premiership season too, it was a busy well attended day, we always support the rugby events at many clubs in the area, and donated 20% of ours days take back to the Club as a way/ form of sponsorship.

shaun’s mum Judy contacted us to put on a great show for her sons 18Th, so Friday evening while the party goers had just finished their food, we hit the Happy Birthday Chimes and rolled up the Drive, Judy handed over some large bottles of Vodka which was added to the Slush Puppy Machine, so it was Smoothies all round, plus Unlimited Ice Creams, all Shaun’s guests were served by Shaun. Happy birthday Shaun all the best.

St joseph’s Catholic school, Sale, have decided to celebrate St Josephs Day , Monday 19Th March. by treating all their pupils to a surprise Mr whippy Ice cream. in their morning break. what a great idea. the children will be so excited when we roll up playing our tunes. we have also designed some posters to attach to the Ice Cream van. which we will hand over at the end of the Hire. Bar Bar Club Manchester

Contacted Mr whippy ice Cream Manchester, and booked us with star Celeb Guest Margi Clark. our job was to be in the Manchester 2011 Pride parade, which was absolute fantastic, Bar Bar put on a great show and really got Noticed, Handing out Freebies all the way round the parade, which included 2000 Ice Lollies, thousands of pairs of sunglasses, also club free drinks vouchers.

George manoli who owns Mr Whippy Ice Cream, drove the Ice Cream van on the day, and has rated this job as one of the very best days he has ever worked in the Ice Cream Game. I superb idea from bar Bar, which was welcomed by all spectators.

What a fab school, all these youg children recentlt raised over £2000.00 to improve their play ground with new willow tunnels etc, so the head decided that a treat was indeed earned, and contacted mr whippy Ice Cream, to attend and all children recieved Ice Creams.
